Apple Nutmeg Mocktail
This recipe is inspired by the holiday season and a whiskey sour. It gets its foamy topping from aquafaba (chickpea liquid) which has no flavour but adds creaminess to the mocktail.
Yields: 4 Servings | Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
2 oz lemon juice
4 oz grapefruit juice
4 oz aquafaba liquid from a can of chickpeas
8 oz apple cider
4 tsp orange bitters
Dash cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dash Nutmeg
4-6 tsp Maple syrup
Lemon zest
Directions
Using a cocktail shaker, add all ingredients and shake without ice first
Add ice and shake again.
Strain into glasses and garnish with lemon zest and nutmeg
