Apple Nutmeg Mocktail

This recipe is inspired by the holiday season and a whiskey sour. It gets its foamy topping from aquafaba (chickpea liquid) which has no flavour but adds creaminess to the mocktail.

Yields: 4 Servings | Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz lemon juice

  • 4 oz grapefruit juice

  • 4 oz aquafaba liquid from a can of chickpeas

  • 8 oz apple cider

  • 4 tsp orange bitters

  • Dash cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Dash Nutmeg

  • 4-6 tsp Maple syrup

  • Lemon zest

Directions

  • Using a cocktail shaker, add all ingredients and shake without ice first

  • Add ice and shake again.

  • Strain into glasses and garnish with lemon zest and nutmeg
